One of my favorite collections is our collection of watergardens. The two main ones are around 2,500 gallons and 800 gallons. We have two small watergardens (combined about 250 gallons) connected by a 40 foot stream. We also maintain year round a Leerio barrel insert mini-watergarden with a pump attached to a cast iron hand pump. During the warm months we maintain three more mini watergardens in large pots. In addition, in order to have an area for propagation of water plants, we have four rectangular pools, ranging from 300 gallons to 900 gallons.
